Since Westminster church began in 1999, it has given financial support to other non-profit organizations that help those who are less fortunate. Our policy has always been to give 20% of our income to assist those in need. To accomplish this, 10% of our income is given to the Middle Tennessee Presbytery which, in turn, distributes money nationally and internationally to worthy mission projects. The remaining 10% of the income is allocated by our mission committee to organizations in Crossville and Cumberland County to meet local needs.

In addition, for almost 10 years we have conducted a food basket program. Three times a year, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, members of the church deliver food baskets to struggling families in our community. Each basket contains a ham and other food items appropriate for easy preparation of a meal for at least 6 people. Funding comes from within the church and from friends of Westminster. Individuals make contributions and our annual golf tournament raises additional funds.
